Sackdoll Crochet Patterns

What is a sackdoll?

Sackdolls are modeled after the Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet. While Sackboys are knitted… Sackdolls are crocheted! Sackboys gained popularity with the fact that you could purchase costumes / cosplay for your little Sackboy while you played. Because of this he was the perfect doll to model a crochet pattern off of. If you check out my earlier work in my portfolios you’ll spot quite a few of my earlier dolls with a zipper down their belly.

So I give you the blank slate. The sackdoll that you can costume and create into anything you want. You can mold this base into just about any doll you can think of. A finished sackdoll typically hits about 12″ tall. Of course this all depends on the type of yarn you use, hook and tension. For all of my sackdolls I use Caron one pound worsted weight yarn for the body. For eyes I use 16mm black buttons. So dive in and create!
