Fat Chocobo Crochet Pattern

When I played Final Fantasy 14, I proudly played a Lalafell. One of the perks of playing a Lalafell is the absolutely adorable glamours you can make. I often ran around as a Chocobo when I grew bored of my goblin cosplay. It also annoyed my husband to no end. What bummed me out was that I could not glamour my armor to be a fat Chocobo! Ridiculous! I was left with only my Fat Chocobo minion… So, this fat Chocobo pattern is based upon the minion rather than my cute Lalafell.. I weep at the missed opportunity of running around as a fat Chocobo.

Special Stitch Instructions:

Most pieces begin with a “ring.” Use any type you feel comfortable with (i.e. Magic Circle, chain 2, and single crochet in the second chain, etc). You’ll be working most pieces in a continuous spiral, as indicated by the MC. If your row starts with CH then you’ll be working in regular rows unless otherwise indicated.

The use of a marker is very useful if you’re not used to working in continuous rounds. It’s also great if you have to stop midway.
